Following the success of last week’s bonus episode, CELEBRITY TRAITORS: First Episode Reaction, The Rest Is Entertainment is launching weekly reaction specials.
The initial episode drew over 300,000 streams in under a week across audio and video.
The new episodes will release every Thursday at 10pm, immediately following the broadcast of each new episode of the BBC’s hit reality show Celebrity Traitors.
Hosted by Richard Osman and Marina Hyde, the podcast will provide fans with instant reactions, combining behind-the-scenes insight and trademark humour.
The pair will dissect the twists, turns and betrayals from each episode, giving listeners a deeper look into the strategies and antics of TV’s most devious contestants.
Since its launch in November 2023, The Rest Is Entertainment has rapidly grown into the UK and Ireland’s biggest entertainment podcast, attracting over 5 million streams every month.
The podcast has also sold out a live edition at the Royal Albert Hall in under an hour last December and has featured high-profile guests including director Chris Columbus, football analyst Alan Curtis, the heads of Eurovision, and the creators of the Netflix hit series Adolescence.
The show has taken audiences behind the scenes at Richard Osman’s House of Games and Sky Sports’ Transfer Deadline Day, further cementing its reputation for exclusive insight into the entertainment world.
The weekly Celebrity Traitors reaction episodes will complement the podcast’s regular member-only content, offering both fans and subscribers a chance to enjoy timely commentary and analysis immediately after each episode airs.
The decision to expand with these specials comes after the overwhelming response to the initial bonus episode, which demonstrated strong demand for fast, expert reactions to the show.
Richard Osman and Marina Hyde will continue to lead the discussions, mixing humour with observations about the series’ most surprising and entertaining moments.
