Nick Cannon has returned with a brand-new season of his podcast We Playin’ Spades, now with full video episodes on YouTube and the Wondery app.
Season three launched today, with Cannon once again joined by co-host Courtney Bee as they welcome some of the biggest names in entertainment to the spades table for laughs, conversation, and no-holds-barred competition.
Described as a ‘backyard boogie’ where the stakes stay high and the cards don’t lie, We Playin’ Spades brings together comedians, actors, singers, and viral legends for unapologetic matchups around its now-iconic turquoise table.
Each week, a new set of celebrity guests join Cannon and Bee thinking they’re ready, but once the cards are dealt, egos get checked and true colours show.
The first episode features Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Porsha Williams and Cynthia Bailey, while episode two will welcome comedian Gary Owens.
Nick Cannon said the show is about much more than the game itself, explaining that it brings the culture behind spades to the screen. “It’s strategy, side-eyes, smoke and a little bit of tea being spilled by the time the last book drops,” he said.
Nick Cannon is also known for hosting Fox’s The Masked Singer, creating and presenting Wild ‘N Out, and launching Counsel Culture, a podcast-turned-talk show on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee last year. He is the father of twelve and holds a degree in criminology from Howard University.
New episodes of We Playin’ Spades will be released every Monday and can watch on YouTube or listen early and ad-free on Wondery+.
