Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett launch eighth season of Dish

Nick Grimshaw and Angela Hartnett have returned with a brand-new season of Dish from Waitrose, the UK’s number one award-winning food podcast.

The eighth season, produced by Cold Glass Productions in partnership with Waitrose, launches today with a star-packed opener featuring Olivia Colman and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The Hollywood duo join Nick and Angela at the table to discuss working together, their love of a good G&T, cooking, acting techniques, and the challenges of protecting their identities while in the spotlight.

Upcoming guests include Emilia Fox, Graham Norton, Mark Ronson, Mawaan Rizwan, Sir Grayson Perry, Suranne Jones and Vicky McClure, with a few surprise names also promised throughout the run.

Since its launch in 2022, Dish from Waitrose has grown into a cultural phenomenon. Regularly topping the Apple Food Charts and holding a 4.9 out of 5 listener rating, the podcast has achieved a Top 20 UK ranking and more than 630 million organic views across Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

Angela Hartnett said: “I’m so excited to be back at the table with Nick for another season of Dish. Every week feels like a proper dinner party, great food, great company, and plenty of laughs along the way.

“We’ve got some incredible guests joining us again, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear the stories (and the secrets!) that get shared across the dinner table.”

This year also sees Dish from Waitrose step onto one of the country’s most prestigious stages with a landmark sold-out live show at the Royal Opera House in London on 17 September.

Produced by Cold Glass Productions, the special 90-minute edition will bring the feel of a dinner party to the main auditorium, complete with signature recipes, conversation, and surprise guests. The event comes just ahead of the opening of Angela’s new restaurant, Cicoria.

Nick Grimshaw said: “We’re beyond excited to be on stage at the Royal Opera House, and we will try and restrain ourselves from attempting any ballet or opera throughout the evening.”

The first episode is available today, 10 September, on all podcast platforms. Filmed episodes continue on YouTube with the AngeCam behind-the-scenes look, while this season also introduces full video episodes on Spotify for the first time.
