Just 12 months after its launch, the P1 with Matt and Tommy podcast has surpassed 12 million listens and has two million followers across social media.
F1 fans Matt Gallagher and Tommy Bellingham were best known as the faces and founders of WTF1, the popular F1 media outlet. In February 2023, the pair launched P1 with production company Stak. It went straight to the number one spot in Apple and Spotify’s Top Charts.
Together, Matt and Tommy have created a whole new platform for Formula 1. As well as podcast episodes, each week they bring fans YouTube race reactions, live Twitch watch-alongs and news bursts on socials, as and when they happen.
They have also filmed content with some of the biggest names in the sport, including Daniel Ricciardo, Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz and Esteban Ocon.
In the last year, P1 with Matt and Tommy sold out live performances across the UK, including the main stage at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. They’ll also be performing at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in April this year.
In March, the Formula 1 season returns, so Matt and Tommy will be releasing several episodes a week to take listeners through the biggest event in motorsport.
