Palace Confidential launches newsletter and joins Spotify for royal fans

Royal fans have a new way to keep up with the House of Windsor as Palace Confidential expands beyond YouTube.

The show is launching a dedicated newsletter and becoming available on Spotify.

Palace Confidential has built a strong reputation since its launch in 2020, offering insider royal analysis and discussion provided by the Daily Mail’s team.

The weekly show, hosted by Jo Elvin, has become a major success story for the Mail’s YouTube channel, with half-a-million subscribers watching episodes more than 260 million times in total.

Now, fans can watch or listen via Spotify, giving them more choice in how they enjoy royal coverage. The move means episodes will be available as video and as audio-only for those on the go.

The new Palace Confidential newsletter will give subscribers even more premium content each week. It promises rarely seen archive photos of the royals, interactive polls, trivia questions, and the chance to put questions directly to the Mail’s royal experts.

The newsletter will be written by the Mail’s diary editor and regular panellist Richard Eden, who said: “This is really exciting. I love interacting with our readers and viewers and this gives us a chance to do even more of that.”

Creator and executive producer of Palace Confidential, Luke Blackall, added: “It’s been fantastic watching Palace Confidential find a huge global audience. These exciting new plans will not only help us grow the show’s reach but also brings our loyal fans more choice as to how they consume their Royal news.”

The newsletter will be delivered straight to inboxes every Thursday, aiming to keep readers feeling connected to royal news and behind-the-scenes insights. It is free to subscribe.

Palace Confidential remains available weekly on YouTube, and past episodes can now also be streamed on Spotify for catch-up listening.
