Patreon gives creators upgraded tools for custom branded newsletters

Patreon is rolling out an upgrade to its newsletter system, giving creators more control and flexibility when connecting with fans.

The new features make it easier to design, publish, and track branded newsletters as part of creatorsโ€™ wider businesses on the platform.

The update builds on how creators already mix media like podcasts, videos, livestreams, and merch. Newsletters have become a natural extension of that, helping fans stay engaged across different projects.

With the new tools, creators can now embed multiple videos and audio clips within one post or email, making newsletters more dynamic and interactive. They can also add custom call-to-action buttons, directing readers to a shop, event, or previous episode.

Patreon has also added analytics features showing how many fans open or click each email, plus how much revenue or how many memberships each post generates. These insights give creators a clearer picture of whatโ€™s working and where to focus next.

Musicians, podcasters, artists, comedians, and writers have long used email to maintain strong fan relationships. Patreon says its improved system will bring more of that engagement directly into its own ecosystem, as more creators launch or migrate their newsletters to the platform.
