Piers Morgan launches History Uncensored as first podcast spin-off series

Piers Morgan Uncensored is launching its first ever spin-off series, History Uncensored, presented by former CNN anchor and reporter Bianca Nobilo.

The new weekly series is set to bring major moments from the past to life through debate, investigation and contemporary relevance, as the Uncensored brand continues to expand.

History Uncensored with Bianca Nobilo will be available on YouTube and as a podcast in the coming weeks, mirroring the distribution model used by Piers Morgan Uncensored, which has built a large global audience since its launch.

Nobilo says the aim of the programme is to examine how history is shaped, challenged and sometimes distorted, while encouraging open discussion around how past events continue to influence politics, culture and public life today.

She said: โ€œHistory Uncensored will be rigorous, exciting and alive to the fact that the past is never really past, because it is constantly recast to serve the present, which is why weโ€™ll challenge distortion, question official narratives and uncover whatโ€™s been buried or conveniently forgotten.โ€

She added: โ€œMy own family history is a reminder of what happens when truth and free expression are suppressed, so for me these ideas are not abstract, and Uncensored exists to protect the open ground where opposing ideas are tested and explored.โ€

Piers Morgan described the spin-off as the next stage in the development of the Uncensored brand, promising a fresh approach to well-known stories alongside coverage of lesser-known historical controversies.

He said: โ€œBrace yourself, history is about to get uncensored, with fresh perspectives delivered with the social media savviness, quality production and journalistic rigour which makes PMU such a success, and this is just the first step in the growth of our brand.โ€

History Uncensored is confirmed as the first of several planned spin-offs under the Uncensored banner, signalling a broader move into themed strands built around the original showโ€™s audience and digital reach.

Piers Morgan Uncensored launched in 2022 and has since passed 4.1 million subscribers on YouTube, with the channel also reporting more than one billion views across its output in under four years, driven by daily video content and high-profile interviews.
