Platform Media has appointed Channel 4’s Jodie Miles as its new Commercial Director, a role created to strengthen the company’s commercial strategy as it continues expanding its TV and digital output.
Miles joins from Channel 4, where she was Senior Lead within Partner Lab, the broadcaster’s creative partnerships division.
There, she headed the Partnerships Sales team, delivering major campaigns connecting brands with culture across branded entertainment, television, streaming, and sponsorship.
At Platform Media, Miles will lead the Partnerships team, known for creating award-winning podcast collaborations and branded entertainment campaigns that bring global brands together with high-profile talent.
She will also play a key role in developing original IP, with three new digital-first shows set to be announced this month, alongside building on the company’s growing TV portfolio with titles such as Rivals: The Official Podcast and The Traitors: Uncloaked.
During her five years at Channel 4, Miles worked on projects for brands including Tesco Mobile, TUI, Boots, Laithwaites, Vinted, KFC, e.l.f. Cosmetics, Mars, and Unilever.
Her recent campaigns included Tesco Mobile: The Great British Phone Swap, Laithwaites: Wine Then Dine, and Vinted’s award-winning Second-Hand Showdown and Second-Hand Style-Up.
Ali Griffin, Chief Commercial Officer at Platform Media, said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jodie to the growing Platform Media commercial team. I’ve long admired her work at Channel 4 and the industry-leading partnerships she’s delivered. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand and innovate.”
Jodie Miles added: “I’m excited to join Platform Media and build on the incredible work already happening across the business. The company’s digital-first approach reflects where content and entertainment are heading, and I can’t wait to help shape this next phase.”
