Podsqueeze has launched a new text-based audio editor, giving creators the ability to edit their podcast episodes directly inside the platform for the first time.
This new feature means Podsqueeze users can now upload audio and edit it through a simple text interface, alongside the tools they already use to generate show notes, clips and other automatic content.
The company says the new editor is designed to streamline production by reducing the time spent switching between programmes and letting creators make precise changes with just a few clicks. It is available immediately across all plans.
The editor includes automatic removal of filler words and silences, one-click audio enhancement and a visual waveform view for users who want tighter control over pacing and individual cuts.
Podsqueeze says the combined text-plus-waveform layout is intended to make editing more intuitive for podcasters who want both speed and accuracy in their workflow, helping ensure each change sounds natural on playback.
Tiago, co-founder of Podsqueeze, said today that the new feature represents a major step towards creating a complete end-to-end toolkit for podcasters, covering production, post-production and promotion in one place.
He added that video editing for video podcasts is already in development and will be released soon as part of the platform’s wider expansion.
