Saasha Celestial-One to be a guest on Self Centred with Roann podcast

Former BBC/ITN journalist turned successful entrepreneur Roann Ghosh talks to food sharing app co-founder Saasha Celestial-One in his latest podcast Self Centred with Roann.

The podcast follows conversations with purpose-led individuals, and sets out new ways of thinking, living, and working.

This week’s episode launching 22 October welcomes Saasha Celestial-One, co-founder of Olio, the revolutionary food-sharing app which champions the idea that small actions can lead to big change.

Saasha explains how her work to reduce food waste has given her a true sense of purpose, which she describes as ‘the absence of regret’, and a lightness of knowing what you’re doing.

She shares the importance of aligning your values with your work, and why having purpose plays such a huge role in your working ability, and energy levels.

With over a decade of experience in corporate America, Saasha made the step to follow her own path and launch a business that she is proud of.

Saasha speaks with Roann about how she previously felt like a fish out of water and that the purpose and sense of mission she now holds towards her work is hugely different in contrast. She reminds us that we can all make a difference if we are led by our passion and says: “Find the smallest possible thing that feels achievable and just do that.”

The pair discuss the freedom of no longer having self-judging conversations with yourself, the challenging balance between investment and social impact and learning how to understand the difference between what you actually need versus what you think you need.

They also delve into why ego is just a buffer for us all to ignore our true selves, and the noticeable difference we can all make when we align our values with the way we live our lives.

Self Centred with Roann is available on Apple, Spotify and all major podcast platforms.
