The Sport Social Podcast Network has partnered with Listener.com to centralise and enhance its cross-platform audience analytics.
As Europe’s largest dedicated sport podcast network, Sport Social hosts more than 600 shows, including multiple Premier League club podcasts, and records over 10 million monthly downloads.
Under the agreement, every podcast in the network will now be managed through Listener.com’s AI-powered analytics platform.
By combining audio, video, and social media data from platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and YouTube, Listener.com will give Sport Social a single source for audience information. This will support improved internal decision-making and provide detailed, consistent reporting for sponsors, commercial partners, and rights holders.
Sophie Hind, Managing Director of the Sport Social Podcast Network, said: “Podcasts have evolved rapidly delivering audiences across multiple channels creating significant revenue growth via 360 advertising solutions.
“For both creators and advertisers being able to accurately analyse those cross-platform audiences has been a challenge until now.
“Listener.com delivers the perfect solution and is revolutionising our workflows in terms of data and analytics management, enabling us to provide accurate insights in an easily digestible format.”
The announcement comes as video content plays an increasingly central role in podcast audience growth and monetisation strategies.
Listener.com’s Episode Cluster technology matches cross-platform clips and social posts to their corresponding episodes, offering a complete view of reach and engagement across all distribution channels.
Casey Adams, Founder and CEO of Listener.com, said: “Sport Social represents the gold standard in sports podcasting. We’re thrilled to power their analytics infrastructure and help their team tell a more complete story about their reach, across every channel their fans are listening and watching.”
