Spotify has launched a new Awards Season Hub ahead of this weekendโs Golden Globes.
The hub will give listeners a single destination for podcasts connected to the ceremony and the wider conversation before and after the event.
This year marks the first time podcasts are being recognised as a category at the Golden Globes, a milestone moment for the medium, with Spotify using the hub to spotlight creators and discussions shaping awards season.
The Awards Season Hub brings together nominee content, expert commentary and audience reaction in one place, designed to make it easier for listeners to follow developments across the weekend and beyond.
At the centre of the hub are three curated shelves, starting with Podcast Nominees, which highlights award-nominated shows and offers listeners a clear entry point to discover some of the most talked-about titles this season.
A second shelf, Interviews with Nominees, features long-form conversations with nominees discussing their work and the wider industry, including selected episodes from The Hollywood Reporter Roundtable.
The third, From Critics & Fans, pulls together analysis and reaction from shows including The Watch, Little Gold Men and Award Circuit, covering nominations, predictions and early responses to the awards.
Spotify says this shelf will continue to update after the ceremony, adding recap episodes and extending the hubโs relevance beyond the live broadcast on Sunday.
The hub is live today and will refresh throughout awards weekend, reflecting Spotifyโs growing focus on podcasts as part of mainstream cultural moments.
