The ARIAS are now open for entries, marking the start of this yearโs most prestigious celebration of excellence across UK radio, podcasts and audio storytelling.
Entries for the 2026 awards are now invited for creators and teams from across the industry to put forward their best work for consideration by more than 200 senior audio and radio leaders who will judge the awards.
The ARIAS are highly regarded by the sector, recognising outstanding content, creativity, production quality, impact and storytelling across radio, podcasts, audiobooks, sound design and journalism.
Key dates for this year include the opening on 7 January at ยฃ45 plus VAT, with early bird pricing available until 16 January, when the cost increases to ยฃ65 plus VAT, before entries close on 11 February. The awards ceremony will take place in May, with further details to be announced.
The awards are open to all UK-based audio creators who are members of The Radio Academy, including radio stations and teams, independent podcast producers, audiobook creators, sound designers and news journalists.
Alongside established broadcasters, the ARIAS continue to highlight the growing influence of podcasts and on-demand audio, celebrating innovation and excellence wherever audiences are listening.
Independent producers and underrepresented creators can also apply to the Podcasting, Seriously Awards Fund, which helps reimburse entry costs and aims to make the awards more accessible across the sector.
The ARIAS play a key role in showcasing the diversity of voices shaping British audio, while offering creators the opportunity to have their work recognised at the highest level by industry peers.
