The Factory London Studios open podcast facilities in Plaistow

The Factory London Studios has officially opened its doors to creators, brands, and agencies looking for professional and flexible podcast production spaces in East London.

Following its launch at The Podcast Show in May, the studios are now welcoming bookings from across a mix of content genres.

Located directly opposite Plaistow Tube Station and just a mile from Stratford’s Olympic Park, the facility is designed to support podcasters and video creators at every stage.

The Factory London was built on the site of a former clothing factory founded in 1964 by founder Stuart Bluman’s grandfather. The building has been in the family for three generations. After converting it into a coworking hub with private offices last year, Bluman added a new floor dedicated to content creation earlier this year.

“This space has real history,” said Stuart Bluman, Founder of The Factory London. “My grandfather built it from a disused WW2 bomb crater. We’ve kept that same energy — just swapped the sewing machines for cameras and microphones.”

The studios feature two podcast and video studios already open, with two more set to launch before the end of the year.

Facilities include Shure microphones, acoustics by Sound Zero, lighting by Bailes & Light, a multicam setup with Canon C70 cameras, ATEM Mini Extreme ISO switching, and Rodecaster Pro II audio recording.

Studios were fitted out by CVP and include a full control room and professional lighting. Rates are flexible, with monthly memberships also available. The Factory London offers end-to-end production services including recording, editing, social repurposing, and marketing support.

“I speak to so many creators who’ve been sitting on a great idea but don’t know where to start. We built this place so they don’t have to figure it all out alone,” Bluman said. “We’re not just renting you a studio — we’ll help you launch, scale, and actually get heard.”

As part of its mission to broaden access, The Factory London is exploring partnerships with educators, coaches, and industry mentors to offer training and opportunities to new voices.

“There’s a whole generation of talent that just needs the right room and the right energy. That’s what we’ve built here — a place where ideas get made properly,” said Bluman. “Whether you’re an influencer, a brand, or someone who’s just got something to say — we’ve got you.”
