Goalhanger has signed a landmark three-year deal with LALIGA EA Sports, becoming the first podcast to secure official rights to weekly clips from a major European football league.
Launching this season, The Rest Is Football: LALIGA is a brand-new video first edition of the hit podcast, hosted by Gary Lineker and presenter Alex Aljoe.
Available on Spotify and YouTube for audiences in the UK and Ireland, with audio released globally, each episode will feature clips from every LALIGA match, alongside expert analysis and discussion.
The partnership brings fans exclusive access to action from clubs including FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atlético Madrid and Athletic Club, all delivered through the distinctive tone and insight of The Rest Is Football.
Interest in Spanish football is surging, with English stars making headlines across LALIGA. Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold now play for Real Madrid, Marcus Rashford has joined Barcelona and already featured in pre-season, while Conor Gallagher lines up for Atlético Madrid.
They join global talents like Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal in one of the world’s most exciting leagues. This move marks a major milestone for podcasting by redefining how audiences access and experience elite global sport.
