Waves Audio has launched a new online service to improve spoken audio for podcasts and video content without specialist production skills.
The company says Voice ReGen is designed to help creators fix common voice recording problems including background noise, room echo and uneven levels, producing a finished voice track suitable for broadcast and online publishing in seconds.
Voice ReGen is a browser-based service rather than a traditional audio plugin, allowing users to upload audio or video files directly and receive a processed voice track without reshoots, additional equipment or technical setup.
Waves Audio says the service draws on more than 30 years of audio technology developed for music production, film, broadcast and live sound, and applies it to short-form and long-form spoken content such as podcasts, videos and voice-led social media.
The service analyses recordings automatically, removing unwanted noise and echo, restoring frequencies lost during capture, smoothing level changes and improving clarity and presence, while retaining a natural-sounding voice rather than heavy processing.
Alongside audio enhancement, Voice ReGen includes an integrated teleprompter designed to support scripted delivery and reduce the need for repeated takes, particularly for creators working alone or without a production team.
Waves says many creators prioritise visuals while struggling with audio quality, despite clean sound being closely linked to audience trust and retention. The company positions the service as a way to address that imbalance without requiring audio expertise.
Voice ReGen is offered in three tiers, starting with a free Starter option for short recordings, followed by Creator and Pro plans aimed at more frequent production and higher volumes of content.
