Woman’s Hour launches new guide to life podcast on BBC Sounds

BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour is expanding its audio offering with the launch of The Woman’s Hour Guide to Life, a brand-new series available exclusively on BBC Sounds.

Presented by Nuala McGovern, the six-part series is designed as a toolkit for women navigating life’s challenges and opportunities.

Each episode combines expert advice with personal stories to offer practical solutions on issues from careers and caregiving to relationships, resilience and money.

The first series focuses on the everyday juggle faced by many women, exploring how to maintain friendships amid busy schedules, pursue ambition without burnout and embrace ageing as a strength.

Other episodes look at children’s emotional resilience and uncover the mindset behind money and spending choices.

Karen Dalziel, Editor of Woman’s Hour, said: “Woman’s Hour has always been about reflecting the issues which matter most to women.

“The Woman’s Hour Guide to Life will give our listeners even more of what they love. It’s a trusted companion they can turn to navigate the juggle, the struggle and everything in between. It’s a natural extension of our brand, and I’m delighted to bring it to BBC Sounds.”

The first episode will be released on 28 September, with new episodes available weekly on BBC Sounds.
