A new UK-based wellness brand, Zen Essentials, has launched a round-the-clock meditation and relaxation audio stream and is already planning a podcast series to complement it.
The upcoming podcasts will form part of a wider digital-first wellness platform, offering guided sessions and original spoken-word content alongside the existing music and white noise streams.
Zen Essentials says the aim is to provide accessible tools for relaxation, focus and sleep, wherever listeners are in the world.
The audio stream itself, Zen Essentials 1, is available globally via zenessentials.digital and the Alexa Skill “Zen Essentials.”
It plays continuous meditation music during the day before switching at 6pm UK time to uninterrupted white noise until 7am. The service runs without jingles, adverts, or live presenters, creating an uninterrupted listening environment.
Occasional soft idents or promos may feature during daytime hours, but the brand’s focus is on maintaining a calm, consistent sound. Plans for this year also include expansion to selected UK DAB+ digital radio multiplexes.
“We wanted to create a space where people could switch off from the noise of everyday life – literally,” said Stephen Booth, CIO of Zen Essentials. “This is just the beginning, we’re building an entire digital wellness ecosystem around it.”
The stream is free to access and aims to grow into a multi-platform home for relaxation and mindfulness content.
