MIC’s Podcast Club meetup to hear from co-founder of British Podcast Awards, Matt Deegan

MIC’s Podcast Club, the community for podcasters to help each other make better podcasts, is to hear from the co-founder of the British Podcast Awards, Matt Deegan, at its February online meetup.

Podcast Awards are a great way to build recognition and profile for your podcast – but how do you enter them – and most importantly win one?

Matt will talk about how to enter the biggest celebration of British podcasts, give top tips on how to get noticed by the judges and a look at previous winners.

This will be followed with a chat to some award-winning podcasters from the MIC community.  They will talk on how they went about entering and taking the crown at other podcast awards, as well as the BPA’s.

The discussions will also explore if having an award-winning podcast under your belt actually makes a difference.

Including Cold War Conversations (Best Arts & History Podcast, Quite The Podcast Awards 2021), Doing It For the Kids (Best Business Podcast, British Podcast Awards 2021) and It’s All Cobblers To Me (Club Podcast of the Year, Football Supporters’ Association Awards 2021).

The MIC’s Podcast Club meetup takes place on Wednesday 9 February, 6-8pm and you can register for free at the club’s meetup page.
