Best Friend Therapy self-help podcast launches new series

The Best Friend Therapy podcast has launched a brand-new series today.

Hosted by award-winning writer and broadcaster Elizabeth Day and psychotherapist Emma Reed-Turrell, it isn’t a typical self-help podcast. The weekly conversation breaks down relatable challenges and concerns that people face in daily life.

Emma and Elizabeth have been friends for over 20 years and have supported each other through their toughest times. Elizabeth credits Emma for helping her work through the darkest and most difficult time in her life. Having a passion for psychology, Emma left a corporate career to retrain as a psychotherapist and now runs her own private practice.

In episode one, Elizabeth and Emma open with one of their most requested topics – Grief. They be cover everything from anticipatory grief and collective grief, to the ending of friendships and the loss involved in a house move.

Elizabeth shares stories of people who have helped her understand how to live with loss, and the pair discuss how we can reflect on grief to live a fuller life.

The new series of Best Friend Therapy is available to listen to on all major podcasting platforms.
