As an episode of Reid Hoffman’s Masters of Scale discusses voice AI, the company behind the podcast has released a Podcast Listener’s Bill of Rights.
Although AI is revolutionising the media landscape, making content production more collaborative and efficient, there is also much debate around the concern of who is establishing trust with the audiences to ensure the AI takeover is transparent?
To lay the foundation for AI ethics in the podcast industry, WaitWhat has issued its proposed industry guide for AI in audio in the Podcast Listener’s Bill of Rights.
The proposal is to offer listeners a set of guidelines for ethical podcast and audio consumption in the age of AI.
WaitWhat is the first media company to create a living document like this, which clearly distinguishes between AI-assisted and AI-generated content, informing listeners of their rights, and calling for other media and tech companies to establish similar transparent principles.
