Emma Finucane and Manon Lloyd join Crowd Network cycling podcast

World champion cyclists Emma Finucane and Manon Lloyd have joined Crowd Network to present a new podcast for the Tour de France Femmes.

The duo will front twenty weekly episodes of Watts Occurring Femmes, covering everything cycling as well as Emma’s current season to her hopes for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. They join a line-up of cycling talent at Crowd, including Geraint Thomas and Luke Rowe.

Emma Finucane is a track sprinter and Olympic medallist, having won one gold and two bronze medals at the 2024 Paris Olympics. She is also a “double-double” world champion, with golds in both solo and team sprint events at the 2023 and 2024 UCI Track Cycling World Championships.

Manon Lloyd rode professionally from 2014 to 2017 and won two world championship golds in 2016 for the Madison and team sprint events. Since retiring, she has presented for the Global Cycling Network from 2019 to 2024.

Louise Gwilliam, Talent Manager at Crowd Network, said: “Having made strides in creating a network for women’s sports podcasting, branching into cycling is the next major step.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Emma and Manon to Crowd. Their experience at the highest level of cycling will provide our listeners with incredible insights into the sport they love.”

The new podcast will be supported by bicycle manufacturing brand Pinarello, with episodes filmed inside its UK retailers, and cycling app ROUVY, which will continue its partnership with Crowd’s cycling podcasts by running community rides with Emma and Manon as part of the launch.

Joe Deacon, Head of UK Marketing at Pinarello, said: “Emma and Manon are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the sport, and we feel privileged that the show will be recorded in our UK retailers.”

Watts Occurring Femmes launches today, 24 July, on all podcast platforms.
