Audioboom will handle hosting, distribution and advertising sales for Crooked Mediaโs podcasts under a new multi-year commercial agreement.
The deal gives Audioboom responsibility for hosting and global distribution across Crooked Mediaโs full slate of shows, alongside network advertising sales in audio and video formats.
For Pod Save the UK, Audioboom will also manage host-read advertising, opening a new commercial route in the UK, while Crooked Mediaโs in-house team keeps host-read rights for all other programmes.
The partnership is effective immediately and runs through the 2026 US midterm elections and the 2028 presidential election.
Both companies say it creates additional advertising inventory at a time of heightened international interest in US politics, while extending Crooked Mediaโs reach beyond its core markets.
Crooked Media Vice President of Sales Giancarlo Bizzarro said the agreement would strengthen how the company distributes and monetises its content globally, adding that it โensures our shows reach audiences wherever they are and creates new commercial opportunities for Pod Save the UK and our growing international portfolioโ.
Founded in 2017 by former Obama administration staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett and Tommy Vietor, Crooked Media has built a broad catalogue of political and current affairs podcasts.
Its current line-up includes Pod Save America, Lovett or Leave It, Pod Save The World, What A Day and Assembly Required with Stacey Abrams, alongside limited series such as Wind of Change, This Land and Mother Country Radicals.
Audioboom says Crooked Media will gain access to its Showcase marketplace, which connects podcasts with more than 2,000 brands and international sales partners.
The company adds this will support advertisers seeking scale across multiple territories, while allowing Crooked to maintain editorial control over its shows.
Audioboom Chief Content Officer Brendan Regan said the partnership reflected a shared focus on creator-led networks supported by distribution and monetisation infrastructure, describing it as a way to support Crookedโs next phase of growth.
The announcement follows recent moves by Audioboom to expand its video podcast operations, including new distribution tools designed to support publishers as demand for video-led podcasting grows across platforms.
