The Best One Yet podcast secures exclusive Acast partnership

The Best One Yet has handed exclusive global distribution and advertising sales to Acast under a new multi year deal.

The agreement gives Acast exclusive rights to distribute and sell ads for both the audio podcast and its video simulcast, marking a significant shift in how the daily business show is monetised and scaled internationally.

The Best One Yet was co founded by Nick Martell and Jack Crivici-Kramer in 2018. It was acquired by Robinhood in 2019, where it became known as Snacks Daily, before being spun out in 2022 to be fully owned by its founders.

Since launching, the podcast has released more than 1,600 daily episodes and reports over 80 million lifetime downloads, including 40 million since its 2022 relaunch. It also won a Webby Award for Best Business Podcast.

Yishai Seidman, Senior Development Manager at Acast, said: “With The Best One Yet, Nick and Jack have defined a new category of business news in podcasting. Their ambitious expansion into video and live touring aligns perfectly with Acast’s own omnichannel strategy.”

Alongside the partnership, the company confirmed plans to expand beyond audio. In December, it announced its IPO Tour for 2026, with initial shows in New York, Los Angeles, Austin and Arlington, VA. Organisers say the Austin and Los Angeles dates have sold out as the tour expands to seven cities.

To support growth, Mike Muney has been appointed as General Manager. He previously led partnership divisions at Moment, acquired by Patreon, and at Yahoo, following his time at Spotify.

Nick said: “Bringing Mike on as GM and partnering with Acast allows us to scale our magic further, onto YouTube, live events, and other new ventures.”

Jack added: “This expansion isn’t about changing that DNA; it’s about amplifying the brightness our show brings to our ‘Yetis’ and ‘Besties,’ as our audience calls themselves.”
