Digital audio advertising firm DAX US has appointed Jennifer Tang as senior vice president of programmatic to expand its programmatic audio offering.
Jennifer will be responsible for leading the company’s programmatic strategy as it continues developing digital audio advertising opportunities for brands and publishers across the United States.
Based in Los Angeles, Jennifer joins the business with more than 20 years of experience across both the agency and publisher sides of the industry.
Her career includes roles at Spotify, Yieldmo and UberMedia, where she worked on programmatic advertising and digital media partnerships.
DAX says the appointment supports its wider expansion in the US market as advertisers increasingly use digital audio to reach audiences across podcasts, streaming platforms and connected devices.
Jennifer will oversee the company’s programmatic sales strategy, helping strengthen relationships with agencies, brands and technology partners while growing programmatic demand for audio inventory.
In a statement announcing the hire, the company said: “We are pleased to welcome Jennifer Tang to DAX United States.”
It added: “Based in Los Angeles, Jen will lead our programmatic efforts and support DAX’s continued growth in the digital audio marketplace.”
Programmatic buying has become an increasingly important part of digital audio advertising, allowing campaigns to be traded automatically through advertising technology platforms and giving advertisers more data-driven targeting options.
DAX, part of Global, works with advertisers to place campaigns across a range of digital audio environments including streaming services, podcasts and online radio.
The company has been expanding its presence in the United States in recent years, focusing on helping brands reach listeners through programmatic advertising alongside traditional audio sales.
