RadioToday Programme podcast returns after six-year break

Roy Martin and Stuart Clarkson have revived the RadioToday Programme which brings news, comments and opinion from the radio and audio industry.

Originally a weekly podcast extension of the RadioToday website, Roy and Stu say they’re bringing back the show with occasional episodes “in a bid to stop everyone asking if the programme is coming back”, so they’ve done it!

The podcast was a weekly must listen for radio people featuring interviews from those from behind and in front of the mic, plus coverage of industry events such as conferences and awards.

Radiodays in Latvia is the setting for the first episode of the new series featuring lots of radio people from Global, Bauer, the BBC and more.

You’ll hear from Heart’s Matt Wilkinson, Radio 1 boss Aled Haydn Jones, Greatest Hits Radio’s Andy Ashton, Matt Lomax & Heidi Donald from Global, Jack Saunders & Daisy Jarrett from Radio 1’s New Music Show, radio consultant James Cridland, and Bauer Media Group’s President of Audio Simon Myciunka.

Speaking about their revival, Roy and Stu say: “We’ll give it a go. It’s not going to drop into your feed all the time; it might be just a surprise like today. When there’s something to talk about, we’ll do it.”
