The Podcast Guys agency hires Anne Claessen as Chief Operating Officer

The Podcast Guys has appointed Anne Claessen as Chief Operating Officer to lead its operational growth.

The event-focused podcast agency confirmed Anne joined on 13 April, bringing experience across production, marketing and agency leadership, as the company moves into a new phase of expansion.

Anne joins from Cashflow Podcasting, where she was Chief Executive Officer. Her background includes roles ranging from freelance podcast manager to leading her own agency, with responsibilities covering launch strategy, marketing direction and overall business leadership.

Founder Dan Cottrell said the appointment reflects the company’s need to strengthen its internal structure as it scales.

He said: “Bringing Anne into the business is one of the most exciting decisions we’ve made as a leadership team.

“Anne is an exceptional operator who thrives on the detail, builds systems that give teams clarity, and brings the experience of leading a podcast agency.”

As chief operating officer, Anne will oversee operational systems and processes, with a focus on supporting delivery across a growing client base. The company says this includes ensuring teams have the structure and resources needed to maintain output as demand increases.

Anne said she was drawn to the creative work produced by the business and its potential for further growth.

“What drew me in was the creative quality this team generates, and what drives me is making sure they have the space, support and structure to keep creating it for a growing roster of clients,” she said.

The Podcast Guys says the hire comes as it continues to expand internationally, with a larger client portfolio and increased demand for event-led podcast production services.
