Flightpath to launch Revenue Optimizer managed traffic service

Flightpath is launching a managed traffic service designed to help podcast publishers increase revenue and improve campaign delivery.

The company will unveil Revenue Optimizer during a session hosted by Chief Executive Officer Sean Howard at The Podcast Show London on 20 May at 2pm.

Revenue Optimizer builds on Flightpath’s forecasting technology and one-year inventory projections. It is designed to help publishers manage campaigns across podcast and digital audio inventory while maintaining greater operational control.

The platform analyses all managed orders together to identify and execute the most effective optimisation path across campaigns, placements and delivery systems.

When campaigns underperform, ad operations teams often have limited options that can affect other bookings. Revenue Optimizer is designed to assess those knock-on effects in real time and predict future performance before making adjustments.

Flightpath Chief Revenue Officer Laurie Belleau said an initial test of the product generated an eight per cent increase in revenue performance linked to optimisation improvements.

She said: “We realised that our predictive campaign performance and flight simulator products opened the door to solving a much larger problem for Ops teams: holistic campaign management.”

Sean said: “Technology should support sales strategy, not dictate it.” He added that the new service strengthens Flightpath’s move into traffic management by combining inventory forecasting, campaign prediction and scenario planning to maximise publisher revenue.

Key features include managed traffic optimisation across delivery platforms, recommendation engines for unmanaged campaigns, future inventory planning and support for Spotify’s evolving yield tools for Spotify Megaphone publishers.

Revenue Optimizer is also intended to help publishers preserve future inventory availability, identify opportunities on constrained shows and improve operational efficiency across teams.
