Broadcaster and writer Annie Mac launches the second series of her critically acclaimed podcast Changes with more extraordinary people set to appear.
These include British author and activist Bernadine Evaristo, American singer-songwriter Beth Ditto, actor Michael Sheen and comedian Romesh Ranganathan.
Series two of Changes with Annie Macmanus runs from 7 September through to 23 November with new episodes released weekly. Novelist Zadie Smith is the first guest of the series out today (Monday 7 September) and available on all podcast providers.
The podcast features candid conversations about how we as a species, cope with and adapt to change, and how we can affect change. These are conversations to inspire and incite action, to evoke tears of empathy and frustration and to learn from. A fan of series one, Lucy Waite, a Junior Doctor in Scotland wrote in and said that the series “makes you feel like a better person for listening, without being in any way superior/moral/arsey”.
As well as world famous guests, Changes is a podcast that features voices that are not often heard in the public sphere. Annie will speak to lottery winner Susan Herdman as well as ex far right neo Nazi Nigel Bromage about their experiences of change and how it has impacted their lives and those around them.
