Funny Old World is the podcast for the eco-curious

The podcast is co-hosted by sustainability expert Juliet Kinsman and media pundit Simon London.

Throughout the six-part series of ‘edutaining’ conversations for the eco-curious, the podcast aims to make it easier to better understand the causes, symptoms, and solutions to the climate emergency.

Each weekly episode features a light-hearted conversation about heavy topics, from carbon emissions to press coverage of the climate.

Over the course of the series, Juliet and Simon bring together a range of voices and experts, such as environmentalist George Monbiot, climate activist Mitzi Jonelle Tan, disinformation specialist Jennie King and environmental scientist Angela Terry to make important issues more digestible.

Jargon often used in the media and “greenwashing” can make it difficult to understand what the climate crisis is and what can be done about it. Funny Old World aims to cut through the noise and speak openly, honestly, and without judgement.

Co-host Juliet Kinsman says: “Our mission is to engage people with the WHY it matters and the how and what to do when it comes to sustainability and tackling the climate emergency — but in simple terms, with a little laughter along the way.”

The podcast was made possible by Weeva – a digital system for managing sustainability.
