Good Food launches new podcast with Joanna Page and Mathew Horne

Good Food is bringing Joanna Page and Mathew Horne back together to host a new weekly podcast built around food and conversation.

Table for Four is an eight-episode series that reunites the TV duo as they share three course meals with well-known celebrity pairs, mixing personal stories with behind-the-scenes reflections from their own careers.

Across the run, Joanna and Mathew sit down with guests including Matt Edmondson and Mollie King, Gary Barlow and Olly Smith, and Russell Howard and Dan Atkinson.

Each episode centres on how the pairs first met, how their relationships have developed, and what they are working on now.

The structure follows the meal itself. Over starters, the hosts explore first impressions and early memories. During the main course, discussion turns to current projects. Dessert is used to look ahead to what is coming next.

Food plays a central role in the format. Good Food Senior Food Editor Samuel Goldsmith prepares recipes for each episode, which listeners can also recreate at home, linking the audio experience with the brand’s wider food content.

Joanna Page said: “Sitting around the dinner table with Mat and some of our favourite celebrities for a delicious meal and gorgeous conversation is an absolute dream. We can’t wait for everyone to listen and join us around our Table for Four!”

Mathew Horne added: “It is brilliant to be back working alongside Joanna as we get to chat with other iconic pairings about their shared adventures. It turns out tucking into a three-course meal is the perfect way to get the best stories out of your guests – including us!”

The series launches today, 19 February with Gary Barlow and Olly Smith, followed by Russell Howard and Dan Atkinson.

Later episodes feature Freddie Fraser and Minah Shannon, Mollie King and Matt Edmondson, Dame Arlene Phillips and Bradley Riches, Laura Smyth and Carmen Butcher, Talk of the Townsends, and Connor Swindells and Alistair Petrie.
