In Ten Years Time podcast back for new series to help live a better life

Tricia Duffy has announced the sixth series of her podcast In Ten Years Time: How to live a creative life.

The podcast was named Best Arts & Design Podcast at the Women In Podcasting Awards last year, marking the second year in a row it has received the accolade.

In Ten Years Time is designed to encourage people of all ages and stages to live a more satisfying creative life, using Duffy’s ITYT philosophy which uses long-term thinking through the power-of-ten with small, achievable daily steps.

Tricia said feedback from listeners has been overwhelming, adding that messages from people who feel the podcast has changed their lives are a constant source of joy and motivation as she continues to support others in finding or amplifying their creative identity.

She explained that the new series builds on previous episodes with an overarching theme of the Science of Creativity, exploring topics including cognitive wellness, neurodiversity, dementia, left and right brain thinking, and the science behind faith in creativity.

Duffy said the aim of the series is to challenge common myths around creativity while offering new ways to think about creative identity and the long-term personal benefits that creative practice can bring, both emotionally and cognitively.

The final episode of the series will feature an interview with cognitive diversity advocate and service designer Ben Miller, which Duffy described as a particular highlight of the new run.

Alongside the podcast, Duffy runs creative living workshops, produces a fortnightly newsletter written by hand, and offers a range of free tools and resources, including a Ten Year Plan Template to help listeners create a long-term creative vision.

All resources, along with links to the podcast, are available via the In Ten Years Time website, with the show available across all major podcast platforms. Season six launches on 15 January.
