Social creators and newlyweds Matthew Mackinnon and Ryan Payne are taking their followers on a brand-new journey with the launch of their podcast, Daddies Overnight.
The couple, who are about to become parents through adoption, have shared their story with more than 10 million followers online.
Now, they’re opening up even further, inviting listeners to join them as they navigate the emotional, funny and unpredictable experience of becoming first-time dads.
Daddies Overnight explores every part of their journey, from the nerve-wracking excitement of preparing for parenthood to the messy, real-life moments that come with it.
Each episode features the couple’s conversations about setting up their home, babyproofing, and facing self-doubt, while celebrating love, laughter and the reality of being a same-sex couple starting a family.
The series promises “chaos, cuddles and coffee-fuelled confessions,” offering a raw take on parenthood. There are stories from the gender reveal, their first meeting with their baby, and the emotional day they finally brought baby home.
Matthew and Ryan said: “We’re so excited to welcome listeners into our biggest life journey yet! We want to celebrate the chaos and the reality of imperfection and share that it’s okay not knowing everything and figuring it out along the way.
