Bodkin is a new comedy thriller coming to Netfilx in May about true crime podcasters.
The seven-part series stars Will Forte and Robyn Cara as podcasters, Gilbert and Emmy, who travel to the small Irish town of Bodkin to investigate the mystery of three disappearances.
From Barack and Michelle Obama‘s Higher Ground productions, the programme follows Chicago born podcaster Gilbert and his researcher Emmy who are looking for their next big story.
When Gilbert and Emmy try to interview the people of Bodkin about the disappearances, the story develops in a completely different way.
Although Gilbert’s family originate from Ireland, and he hopes to discover his Irish roots, the culture differences between the American podcaster and those living in rural Ireland are apparent.
Bodkin will be available to watch on Netflix from 9 May.
