Podstock has introduced Agent, an AI-powered assistant built to support podcast operations teams with analytics, planning, and campaign management.
The tool is embedded directly into the Podstock platform, enabling networks, studios, and advertising teams to reduce manual work and accelerate decision-making.
Unlike general AI tools, Agent is tailored for podcast workflows. It integrates with systems teams already use, helping automate repetitive tasks while allowing staff to focus on strategic growth.
The assistant can answer ad-hoc questions about show performance using Podstock data, create inventory calendars, generate multi-show media plans, and identify suitable inventory for campaigns across multiple time slots.
“Podcast businesses run on a complex set of operational processes, from analysing show performance to planning inventory and managing campaigns,” said Clayton Gentry, Co-Founder and CTO at Podstock. “Agent is designed specifically for those workflows, giving teams an intelligent assistant that understands podcast operations and helps execute them faster and more efficiently.”
Agent operates in a secure, dedicated environment for each organisation, keeping data, compute resources, and operational context separate.
Teams can control how it functions, including which tools it can access and what actions it can perform, with full audit logging to track all activity.
Michael Paretzky, CEO of Podstock, added: “Our goal with Podstock Agent is simple: give every employee an AI collaborator that understands their workflow.
“When that operational drag disappears, teams can focus on the strategic projects that drive real growth for their businesses and for the industry as a whole.”
The launch of Agent marks the first phase of Podstock’s agentic tools aimed at supporting operational teams in the podcast sector. It is available at no additional charge to existing Podstock customers and anyone signing up during the preview period.
