Season two set for mental health podcast What Your Therapist Thinks

What Your Therapist Thinks is returning with a second series and the launch of a companion Substack.

Kristie Plantinga and Felicia Keller Boyle have confirmed the new run after what they describe as a breakout first season for the show, which focuses on conversations about therapy and mental health culture.

The podcast is hosted by Kristie, founder of BestTherapists.com, and licensed somatic therapist Felicia. It challenges common online narratives around mental health and provid context from qualified professionals.

The first season reached number one in the Mental Health and Health and Fitness categories on Apple Podcasts. After a short break, the show is now set to continue its weekly format with new guest contributors and topics.

Season two will include appearances from TherapyJeff, a licensed therapist and content creator with more than four million followers. The series will explore issues including modern dating advice, ADHD and neurodivergence in adulthood, EMDR therapy, trauma recovery, body dysmorphia and self-image.

Kristie said: “The internet loves throwing around words like ‘gaslighting’ and ‘toxic,’ but most of the time, the context is missing.”

Felicia added: “We were mind-blown by the love for season one. This season, we’re keeping that same energy: real chats with expert therapists that will make you feel seen, and occasionally, make you laugh out loud.”

Alongside the weekly episodes, the team is launching a What Your Therapist Thinks Substack. It will feature post-recording reactions from the hosts, curated monthly recommendations, and a space for listeners to connect more directly with them.

The podcast is produced by PodVision and is available on major platforms, with full video episodes on YouTube. Season two launches on 25 February but the trailer for is live now.
