Technically Confident podcast helps women get into tech through SaaS

The Technically Confident podcast features conversations and interviews to inspire, increase diversity and close the gender gap in tech.

Host Charlotte Fuller is an award-winning Digital Technology Strategist. She worked for some of the biggest tech consultancies in the UK and US including Avanade, a Microsoft-owned company, and BlackRock.

After suffering from corporate burnout and exhaustion to the point that her body stopped producing cortisol, Charlotte walked away from her well-paid role in London.

She was 29 and knew there had to be a better way of living and working. Going back home to Northumberland for a short time, she packed up her belongings, and with a laptop, mobile and a few basics, Charlotte began travelling and working as a digital nomad.

Fast forward three years and she is now running her own successful digital transformation consulting company making six figures plus.

Throughout her career and in her business, Charlotte has worked with the likes of Next plc, British Red Cross, Irish Parliament, RWE Renewables, FPT software, AXA, The AA, Cobham Aerospace and Arreoblue.

While running her own business, Charlotte has been inspired to help more women get into tech and is now also helping female entrepreneurs to launch large-scale tech projects for their businesses to accelerate their growth through Saas, software as a service.

Traditionally this is an area dominated by men, but Charlotte is passionate about educating women on the opportunities building tech can bring to their businesses and lives.

Charlotte has seen first-hand the knowledge gap and mindset issues women face in accessing tech to grow their business. With her podcast, Technically Confident, she is helping ambitious women who want to overcome their limitations and empower themselves, to build a life and career that makes them happy.

Talking about why she started the podcast, Charlotte says:“I love helping women get into tech on their own terms by building things how they want to and I want to help more women make that happen.

“Female entrepreneurs have a huge opportunity to grow their businesses and income through SaaS and my mission is to make the process easy, fun and lucrative.

“I have been doing this for some of the most well-known companies in the UK, Europe, US and Asia, and now am taking everything I know to help more women access advanced technology so they can achieve more than they imagined and create freedom in the way they work like I have.”

Charlotte’s guests so far have included Co-CEO of Tech She Can Dr Claire Thorne and Director at The Business Oracle Juie Williams. Episodes have covered subjects such as how to build your money-making software, leadership skills and the masculine and feminine energy balance.

New episodes are released fortnightly on most podcast platforms including Apple.
