Peter Dinklage returns as Poirot in new Audible podcast adaptation

Peter Dinklage is back as Hercule Poirot in a new Audible Original adaptation of Agatha Christie’s The ABC Murders, released exclusively on Audible.

The production follows last year’s The Mysterious Affair at Styles, continuing Audible’s collaboration with Agatha Christie Limited to bring the iconic detective to life for modern listeners.

Dinklage, best known for Game of Thrones, reprises his role alongside Himesh Patel as Captain Hastings.

The star-studded cast also includes Sam Claflin, Lydia West, Ben Hardy, Rahul Kohli, Joel Fry and Sian Clifford.

In this reimagining, Poirot and Hastings face one of their most chilling cases when a mysterious letter from “A.B.C.” warns of an impending murder. As the killer taunts the detective with alphabetical clues, the duo must unravel a deadly trail before the final victim falls.

The multi-cast production, written by Anna Lea and directed by Alice Lowe, features Dolby Atmos sound design by John Wakefield and an original score by Johnny Flynn with Joe Zeitlin.

Produced by Claire Broughton of Hat Trick Productions, the series blends audio craft with cinematic storytelling.

The Mysterious Affair at Styles earned critical acclaim last year, with The Guardian praising Dinklage’s “rich, resonant voice” and “charisma underpinned by just the right amount of conceit.”

The ABC Murders is available now exclusively on Audible at audible.co.uk.
