The Modern Mann, known for its in-depth interviews with extraordinary guests, has joined the Mercury podcast network, marking a significant move for both the show and the network.
Since launching in 2015, The Modern Mann has featured stories from a former drug dealer, a wrongfully convicted postmaster, and Britain’s most prolific private sperm donor, among others.
Hosted by Olly Mann with Alix Fox and Olly Peart, the show has built a reputation for exploring unique personal experiences that reflect contemporary society.
With more than two million downloads, The Modern Mann has established itself as a respected independent podcast.
The show’s recent inclusion on the longlist for Best Interview at the 2026 British Podcast Awards, following a win in the same category in 2022, highlights its ongoing recognition within the industry.
Mercury, which launched in 2025, supports independent creators and has already reached 6.5 million downloads.
The Modern Mann is the first of three new lifestyle shows set to join the network in July, as Mercury expands its portfolio of established and emerging podcasts.

Mercury has also recently announced a new Creator Residency in partnership with The Studio at Baha Mar, inviting established podcasters to apply for the opportunity to join the network and record at the Nassau resort’s studio.
