Fern Brady and Alison Spittle return for series two of podcast

Ignore That Feeling will return for a second series, with new episodes launching from Tuesday 21 July.

Hosted by comedians Fern Brady and Alison Spittle, the first series achieved 395,000 downloads in four months and was recognised by Apple as one of the UK’s Best Podcasts of 2026 so far.

The show has developed a dedicated audience, drawn to its candid and unstructured approach.

Fern and Alison, known for their work on programmes such as Taskmaster, Netflix, 8 Out of 10 Cats, House of Games, The Last Leg, Nowhere Fast and The Tommy Tiernan Show, bring their chemistry to a format that deliberately avoids structure, themes and emotional responsibility.

Topics include perspectives on current events, film, television and wider society. Previous topics have included the manosphere, sex work, Danish arthouse cinema, America’s Next Top Model, noughties girlbands and Lily Allen’s West End Girl.

The podcast is known for its political and sometimes controversial content, with both comics pushing and challenging each other throughout each episode.

Alison commented on the return: “Delighted to make it to series two, the friendship is intact. I can’t say the same for my organs. Come and pinpoint when the medication kicks in.”

Fern added: “Series 2 – one less gallbladder, much more Ritalin!”

The podcast will continue to be available on all major podcast platforms, with full visual episodes also released on YouTube through Acast.
