The Lovely Boys, Benny Cohen and Willy Robbins, have launched a new comedy podcast, expanding their reach beyond short-form sketches to long-form audio content.
Their podcast, The Lovely Boys Talking Good, includes sketches, surreal moments, and candid discussions about life, friendship, and male vulnerability, all anchored in a modern take on masculinity.
Benny and Willy, who first found success as TikTok sketch comedians, now use the podcast format to explore confessions, games, stories, and what they describe as “gleefully stupid conversations”.
They also respond to topics and challenges suggested by their audience, to offer something different from topical humour.
The duo’s move into podcasting follows requests from their 350,000 followers for more in-depth content.
In 2024, Benny and Willy also brought their unique style to BBC Radio 4 with a four-part series, The Lovely Boys Talk Good. All episodes from this series are available to listen to on BBC Sounds.
On the launch of their new podcast, The Lovely Boys said: “With each listener the chances of a hug from our fathers increases. So please help us out here. If you listen, hopefully one day our fathers will hear our calls.”
New episodes of The Lovely Boys Talking Good are released every Tuesday and available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, and other major platforms.
