Audioboom expands UK and US sales division with new hires

Two sales executives, Molly Harvey and Shaun Wilson, have been hired by Audioboom across its US and UK Sales division.

Harvey will join as Vice President, Brand Sales and Wilson will return to Audioboom as Vice President, UK Sales, from 15 April.

In her newly appointed position, Harvey brings nearly two decades of experience in sales and business development. Her role will be to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and maximise the monetisation potential of podcast content through impactful sales strategies.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Audioboom, where I’m looking forward to leveraging my passion for podcasts and advertising to drive measurable results for our brand partners,” said Harvey. Prior to joining Audioboom, Harvey held roles at several media companies, including SiriusXM and CBS Radio.

As an established leader with an understanding of the digital global market, Wilson brings expertise in devising sales strategies and managing client relationships.

He has held senior roles, serving as Head of Podcast Sales and UK Podcast Lead at Sony Music and Spotify in recent years. Before that, he spent three years as Audioboom’s Head of UK Sales.

“My return to Audioboom having led a podcast sales team at Sony Music and contributed to overall podcast sales strategy at Spotify UK comes at an opportune time in the podcast space,” says Wilson. “Brands are calling out for premium, creative, outside the box executions to really differentiate themselves to audiences.”
