Dhar Mann Studios is expanding into podcasting with a new weekly interview series featuring celebrities, creators and athletes discussing the moments that shaped their lives.
The first original podcast from Dhar Mann Studios, What Happens Next, will launch on 18 May and be hosted by Dhar Mann.
Inspired by Mann’s own experiences of setbacks and rebuilding his life, the show will focus on the milestones, failures and breakthroughs that helped guests find their purpose.
Each episode will feature a one-to-one conversation exploring resilience, personal growth and the decisions that influenced a guest’s journey.
The title reflects the central question the series asks: what happens after life takes an unexpected turn?
Early guests include Jameela Jamil, Anderson .Paak, Derek Hough, Allyson Felix, Jordan Matter and Roy Wood Jr.
Dhar Mann said: “I started creating videos in 2018 to share my experiences of growth and overcoming challenges, hoping to make even one person feel seen and inspired.
“As a creator, I’m always exploring new ways to tell stories, and this podcast lets me do that in a different medium, through deeper conversations about the defining moments in people’s lives.”
The new series builds on Mann’s short-form interview series Life in 60 Seconds, which averages three million views per episode across platforms.
Dhar Mann Studios said the podcast marks its move into new formats following its multi-year agreement with Fox Entertainment and its content partnership with Samsung TV Plus.
The show also extends the company’s relationship with Studio71, which will handle audio and video distribution, ad sales and promotional support.
Adam Boorstin, co-chief executive of Studio71, said podcasting was “a natural evolution of our partnership”.
What Happens Next will be available on YouTube and all major podcast platforms, with new episodes released every Monday.
