Audio’s impact on business growth will take centre stage at Tuning In 2026, as the first speakers are announced.
New research and expert analysis are set to be unveiled at the event on 30 September at London’s Kings Place.
This year’s theme, “Audio: The Secret to Growth”, will guide discussions on how audio can drive profit and enhance advertising effectiveness.
Marketing effectiveness expert Les Binet will present findings from his latest research project, ‘Go Big or Go Home’, focusing on the specific contribution of audio to advertising outcomes.
Les will address the challenge of moving beyond short-term metrics to achieve real business growth, with a session titled ‘Go Loud or Go Home’.
The research, published by the IPA and co-authored with Will Davis, suggests that while advertising is becoming more efficient, it is also becoming less effective.
Les will explore what this means for audio, encouraging the industry to reconsider how audio is used within broader marketing strategies.
Andrew Tindall, Chief Growth Officer at System1, will also speak at the event. Andrew will present global evidence on audio’s ability to drive profit and trust, drawing on analysis of more than 1,250 campaigns from the Effie x System1 global databank over 17 years.
This data provides a unique perspective on the long-term value of audio in advertising.
Radiocentre’s CEO Matt Payton will open the morning event, which will also feature the unveiling of new research into how combining audio with search and social media can improve campaign results.
Lucy Barrett, Client Director at Radiocentre, commented: “Les and Andrew are two of the sharpest minds in marketing effectiveness, and we’re guaranteed thought provoking and entertaining sessions from both of them on the Tuning In stage.
“Their work challenges conventional thinking, and this year’s agenda will do the same. Encouraging brands to rethink the role of audio based on new insights and evidence of its power to drive business growth and amplify advertising impact”.
Tuning In is Radiocentre’s flagship event, focusing on the latest developments in audio advertising. It’s free to attend for UK advertisers, agencies and Radiocentre member stations. Find out more and sign up here.
