Good Food has launched a new podcast focused on practical health advice, with doctors Dr Alex George and Dr Chintal Patel answering questions about everyday wellbeing.
Good Health by Good Food aims to help listeners navigate common health topics with evidence based information and clear explanations. The weekly series covers issues including ultra processed foods, sleep, gut health, brain health, mood, supplements, menopause and sustainable weight loss.
Former A&E doctor and mental health advocate Dr Alex George joins NHS GP Dr Chintal Patel as co host. Each episode is designed to provide practical guidance and address questions that people regularly encounter when trying to improve their health.
Alex said: “There’s so much health information out there, and it can be overwhelming. This podcast is about bringing clarity and focusing on what genuinely helps in everyday life.”
Chintal added: “Good health isn’t about perfect routines – it’s about understanding what matters and making changes that fit real life. In our new podcast, Alex and I will be myth-busting, translating the science, and tackling listener questions with practical advice you can trust.”
The podcast expands the Good Health by Good Food brand, which was launched earlier this year as a health focused extension of the Good Food brand across social media platforms. The wider initiative was created to provide science based health content covering nutrition, wellbeing and fitness.
Lily Barclay, Content Director at Good Food, said the podcast responds to growing confusion around health information online and offers audiences a deeper way to engage with topics discussed across the brand’s social channels.
The first episode of Good Health by Good Food is available now, with new episodes being released weekly.
