KPPR founder Katie Phillips has reached a milestone 50 episodes of her podcast Talking With Cancer.
In this week’s edition, Katie marks 50 episodes by going back to the beginning and sharing how it all began. She is grateful to all her guests and Clair Whitefield for helping to create a body of work that she feels so proud of.
As she continues to learn much throughout the series, she is able to share the knowledge, as well as her own very personal experience with cancer.
Katie reflects: “It feels like a real milestone to have got to 50 episodes. I love doing the podcast and have spoken to some fascinating people who have been impacted by cancer in some way.
“Through their knowledge and insight, I am certainly learning a lot, and I hope my listeners are too.
“This podcast is for anyone who has experienced cancer, to offer something hopeful, relatable and informative.”
The 50th episode of the podcast also comes at an exciting time for Katie as she branches out the podcast to host live events.
On 20 September, Katie will host a live interview with host of You, Me and the Big C, Lauren Mahon at Soho House, Dean St, London. Then on 16t October, she will be leading a Cancer Myth-Busting Workshop at Soho House, Greek Street, London.
