Jez Nelson appointed as Non-Executive Director at Forever Audio

The award-winning audio agency and postproduction studio, Forever Audio has appointed Jez Nelson to its board as a Non-Executive Director.

A pioneer in the UK audio industry, Nelson founded the radio, TV, brands, and digital agency Somethin’ Else in 1991. It became the UK’s largest independent audio producer and a leader in podcasting.

He led the company for more than 30 years, culminating in its sale to Sony Music Entertainment in 2021, where he became EVP, Joint Head of Podcasting globally for Sony Music. In 2020 Jez was awarded an MBE for services to radio.

Commenting on his appointment, Jez said: “I was keen to find a non-exec home in the audio space where I think I can bring my passion and experience to bear.

“Forever Audio feels like that place. It’s a well-respected and forward-looking business in an exciting, evolving space. Paul and Seb have built a strong international team and built up a great roster of blue-chip, loyal clients. I’m excited to work with them to help grow the business and focus their plans for the future.”
