A new podcast series is highlighting Lincolnshire’s growing role in the UK screen industry.
LocationLincs LOUD brings together voices from across film and television to discuss careers, craft and the realities of working in the sector.
Produced by Keal Productions with the University of Lincoln School of Creative Arts, the series focuses on both on-screen talent and behind-the-scenes professionals.
It reflects the range of creative work emerging from the county while encouraging further production activity in the area.
The podcast also positions Lincolnshire as a developing filming destination, supported by ongoing investment from Associated British Ports.
Its Humber ports, including the historic quarter at the Port of Grimsby, are already drawing interest from production teams looking for distinctive locations.
Associated British Ports said it is supporting the series to help promote regional talent and encourage industry growth.
The organisation added that the creative industries play an important role in local economies and that initiatives like this can help attract new opportunities.
Series one features a mix of established and emerging figures from the industry. Guests include actor Thomas Turgoose, Coronation Street actress Lisa George, director Jeremy Wooding and actor Kevin Doyle, alongside producers, presenters and industry specialists connected to the region.
Through a series of interviews, the podcast explores career journeys and the challenges of working in film and television. It also examines how location influences storytelling and why regional production matters.
Heather Greenwood, producer at Keal Productions and host of the series, said: “LOUD is about giving Lincolnshire a voice in the screen industries.
“We have incredible talent, diverse locations, and a growing creative community. This podcast is about bringing all of that together and showing what’s possible here.”
Alongside the audio series, which is available on all podcast platforms, additional video content and behind-the-scenes material are being made available on the LocationLincs website and YouTube.
