New podcast tells tales of medical mysteries from around the world

Ballen Studios and Wondery are to launch a new podcast series called MrBallen’s Medical Mysteries.

The new series was announced at the Podcast Show, London today and it is the first original series co-produced by the two companies.

MrBallen’s storytelling skills have attracted millions of fans across the globe, and he is now turning to the human body for inspiration in this latest suspense-driven podcast. It will launch in the Autumn on Amazon Music and Wondery+ before being released on all other major podcast platforms.

The series features tales of medical mysteries from around the world that have confounded doctors and experts. MrBallen shares medical horror stories and diagnostic mysteries that are surgically calibrated to make the blood run cold, from bizarre, unheard-of diseases and miraculous recoveries to strange medical mishaps and unexplainable deaths.

MrBallen, AKA John B Allen, is the creator and voice behind true crime global hit series MrBallen Podcast: Strange, Dark & Mysterious Stories.
