PAVE Studios has announced a new talk show featuring Emmy Award-winning actress and producer Niecy Nash alongside her daughter, actress and singer-songwriter Dia Nash.
This upcoming series is a PAVE Studios original, created as a video podcast for its true-crime brand, Crime House.
The show will feature unscripted and unfiltered conversations between Niecy and Dia as they delve into ‘crimes of passion’ – stories where love and trust meet and sometimes collide.
Each week, the mother-daughter duo will offer commentary and reactions to real-life cases. Departing from traditional narration and procedural formats, the series will highlight the hosts’ humour and emotional insights, providing a fresh take on true-crime storytelling.
Max Cutler, Founder and CEO of PAVE, commented: “PAVE exists at the intersection of premium content and creators who are redefining how audiences connect.
“Niecy and Dia embody that better than anyone, and working with creators like them is only the latest example of our core philosophy in building the studio of tomorrow.”
Niecy Nash, known for her distinctive voice and television roles, will also be producer, bringing her expertise in captivating audiences.
Dia Nash, a rising creative talent with a significant online following, offers a modern perspective shaped by digital culture.
She brings sharp instincts to each case, adept at uncovering clues from social media and analysing relationship dynamics both online and offline.
Niecy and Dia said: “In our family we don’t just tell stories – we solve them. We are excited to partner with PAVE! Welcome to the mysteries we will unravel together.”
Focusing on crimes rooted in intimacy and betrayal, the series examines incidents that arise not from strangers, but from the closest of relationships: partners, exes, spouses, and lovers.
These are the moments when devotion turns volatile, everyday settings become crime scenes, and the line between love and obsession becomes blurred.
The series will launch soon in both video and audio formats on Crime House. Further details, including premiere dates and distribution information, will be announced in due course.
